Faith Stories

I’ve been recording audio Faith Stories with each child I baptize for several years now, and I never tire of hearing them.  Some are literally just one or two sentences and take 30 seconds or less. Some kids actually tell a story.  I also ask the kids to write their Faith Stories down so that they can simply read it into the microphone.  For some parents, this becomes a piece of paper destined for the scrapbook.

This week I got to baptize a sweet little girl named Avery who wrote hers down like everybody else.  But when I asked her if she was ready to read it, she said she wanted to keep it in her pocket and just “tell it from her heart.”  I loved to hear her say that, and I thought I’d share her Faith Story with you.

I think I’ll post a montage of several faith stories later this week, so make sure you check back to hear what God’s been doing at Infuzed Children’s Ministry in the last couple of years.  And just in case you’re a children’s pastor or other church leader, click here to download the Faith Story guidelines I give to every child and parent as they prepare to write their story.

This so precious and extra special because my husband and I are really good friend of the grandparents of this sweet little girl. I used to teach her mom in my s.s. class when whe was a teen. Thank you for recording such sweet words from out of the mouth of babes. Praise God for Christian parents and grandparents that raise their children up by the word of God.
